Cleaning Supervisor & Business Development Coordinator — Part-time
This is a part-time dual role combining hands-on cleaning supervision with business development, with the potential for more hours as Valens Cleaning grows. You'll oversee the quality and consistency of our cleaning team's work, while also helping us win new clients and build relationships with existing ones.
It's suited to someone who takes pride in high standards and is genuinely interested in helping build a business, not just maintain one. Professionalism, reliability and good customer service matter more here than anything else.
What the role involves
- Supervise and support the cleaning team to maintain consistent, high standards across all jobs
- Carry out quality checks and address any issues quickly and professionally
- Help onboard and train new team members
- Represent Valens Cleaning professionally with clients, in person, by phone and by email
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities, including quotes and enquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with regular residential and commercial clients
- Support day-to-day scheduling and logistics
- Feed back honestly on what's working and help shape how the business grows
The kind of person who'll do well here
- Previous experience in cleaning, ideally with some supervisory responsibility
- A genuinely professional, reliable approach — someone clients and colleagues can depend on
- Strong communication skills, comfortable speaking with clients directly
- Some interest or experience in business development, sales or client relationships
- A full UK driving licence — own transport preferred, given travel between sites
- Someone who wants a long-term role, not a short-term job
